Mackenzie & Tayler’s Wedding at the French Creek Golf Club

Let’s just say we’ve been waiting years to shoot this wedding! We were so excited when we heard from the Mackenzie that she was getting married and wanted us to shoot their wedding, just like her 3 sisters before her. It all started 10 years ago at her oldest sister’s wedding and we have been with this family and their friends ever since! We did an engagement session with Mac & Tayler on the very last day of December. It was definitely a cold, snowy day but the love we felt would warm the coldest heart! Fast forward to their wedding on a perfectly sunny day in June. We started with the girls getting ready and then headed off to St Joseph Church in Downingtown, PA. The couple said their vows during a beautiful ceremony and they were surrounded with so much love and excitement. Then after a few family photos we were off again for the reception at the French Creek Golf Club. This place was amazing! We got so many portraits and we never ran out of beautiful landscapes. The first dance kicked off the night as the celebration continued into the evening. Everyone there seemed to be having the time of their lives, even the littles who boogied down in their pajamas. We are so happy for Mackenzie & Tayler and we know they have many more perfect days in their future!

We are so honored and grateful to be embraced by this wonderful family! Thank you for all the years of joy and letting us be a part of these special moments. We have truly enjoyed watching your families grow and hope to see many more good times yet to come!

Molly & Joey’s Wedding at the Mendenhall Inn in Kennett Square, PA.

It’s all love shooting couples like Molly & Joey! We first met Molly 6 years ago at her sister’s wedding so we were very excited to see the whole family again. There was a lot of rain in the forecast but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits! The storm seemed to hit pause just in time for them to have the perfect wedding day. Everyone got ready at the Mendenhall Inn and it turned out to be a beautiful time for some outdoor shots right on the grounds of the hotel before heading to the ballroom for the ceremony. It was the perfect setting for the couple to say their vows before we went back outside for more portraits of the newlyweds. Soon after we were back in the ballroom for the reception and not a soul stayed away from that dance floor. The party went on into the night with smiles on everyone’s faces. Best wishes to Molly & Joey as they begin their beautiful new life together!

Ben & Julie’s Wedding at Hayfields Bed & Breakfast in Harwood, Maryland.

We want to go back and post a wedding held at Bayfields Bed & Breakfast in Maryland over the summer! It was a perfect day right on the water for Ben & Julie with warm, sunny weather and a gorgeous, colorful sunset in the evening. With an amazing view of the Chesapeake Bay it was a flawless setting for our adorable couple!  We loved every detail of the wedding, especially Ben’s hand-carved and engraved wooden escort cards and signs. They even named their tables after islands in Micronesia where they originally met. We loved working with Elizabeth from East Made Event Company because she made sure everything was just right for this lucky couple! And the perfect ending to their perfect day was a fairy tale sparkler send off. We’re so excited for Ben & Julie and wish them a very happy every after!

Kate and Ryan’s Wedding at the Rickhouse in Durham, North Carolina

Every little detail about Kate & Ryan’s fall wedding was full of warmth and love. We were so excited to spend the day surrounded by family. We first met Kate in 2013 when we shot her sister Kasey’s wedding. Then in 2014 we shot one of their other sisters Kim’s wedding! So when we got the email from Kim that Kate was looking for us we were thrilled! Then to hear it would be in Durham, North Carolina meant we got to do another of our favorite things – travel! First we met all the girls at the super fun boutique hotel 21c Museum Hotel. It was so great to get all the getting ready shots along with a few portraits in the luxurious room before heading to the church for another touching ceremony from Father John Hopkins. After the couple walked down the aisle we did some quick family photos before heading to downtown Durham’s American Tobacco Campus for photos with the newlyweds and their bridal party. The wind had suddenly picked up so it was a blustery but fun adventure! After the guys fought of a slew of fly-away table umbrellas and more gale force winds we were all ready to warm up again and have some fun at The Rickhouse! We were so thankful that Emily from Whiskey and White Events was there with her vision and to help keep everything running smoothly so Kate & Ryan could have the perfect evening. Also the sensational 9 piece band Bantum Rooster for keeping everyone happy on the dance floor! Their adorable and delicious wedding cake was lovingly made by Kate’s sister Kim along with yummy cupcakes from Smallcakes. After the party the couple made a sparkler exit to the after party ending the reception with a bang! We loved every minute of this wedding and we wish Dr. Kate & Dr. Ryan a very happy life together!
