Linda & Andy met almost a year ago to the day of their wedding. How sweet! We had a great time shooting their engagement session in Everhart Park in West Chester, so we could not wait for the wedding day. We started at Linda’s sister’s house for the bridal preparation shots & then we headed to the church for the ceremony. After they said their “I Do’s” we headed to Loch Nairn Golf Club for their beautiful reception. Tom Barrett DJs kept the night flowing & everyone on the dance floor was having a great time. It was a perfect evening for a perfect couple. Best wishes to Linda & Andy!
We’re finally getting around to posting about our winter travels! Every year we like to get out and explore. Of course the cameras always come with us! This year we went back to Costa Rica for a few weeks and then made our way across the border to Panama for a few more weeks. Neither of us had ever been to Panama and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel. It was really hard narrowing down pictures to share, but here are a few!

We had a really fun engagement session with Kyle & Megan in New Hope over the summer. After wandering around with them we knew their wedding was going to be fun and festive too! We started with Megan and the girls getting ready and then we headed over to the ceremony at the church. The reception was held at Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, PA. Every room was festively decorated and the band had no problems filling the dance floor. We were all blown away by Kyle’s skills when he got up on stage and played his saxophone as an extra treat! It was a great night and the time seemed to fly by. Best wishes to Kyle & Megan!
What happens when a bubbly fashion designer and an easy-going gentleman from Sweden move into the same apartment building in Chicago? They fall in love and have a fairy tale wedding at Winterthur Estate! We met with Bonnie and Peter at Winterthur about a month before their wedding so of course we did a lot of planning through phone calls & emails over the previous months. Bonnie’s excitement and Peter’s laid-back attitude are the perfect mix so we were very excited for their special day. We started at Bonnie’s parents house where everyone was getting ready, and the girls looked fabulous in dresses designed and made by Bonnie. Soon we were all on our way to Winterthur for the ceremony and reception. Everything was decorated elegantly and the night was magical. We wish Bonnie and Peter all the best and a very happily ever after!
We planned long distance with Lauren & Mike through phone & email so we were thrilled to finally meet them in person 2 days before their wedding! Their ceremony was one of the many held on 11.11.11, but it was definitely a uniquely wonderful day. Everything was held at Loch Nairn Golf Club in Avondale, PA. The weather was a bit chilly, but luckily the fierce winds stopped just in time for their short & sweet outdoor ceremony. The reception was decorated beautifully with an amazing cake from Cake Art Studio and the dancing was lively thanks to Kevin from Tom Barrett Disc Jockeys. Everyone was having such a good time it was over before we knew it! All the best to Lauren & Mike!
We got an email from Robyn shortly after shooting her friends Ashley & Brett’s wedding last October. Since we definitely love working with referrals we were excited to meet with them and shoot their wedding day. Over the next year Robyn planned & planned. She planned so well that we hardly had to meet before the wedding! We started in Narberth for some getting ready & family portraits followed by the ceremony which was held at Saint Margaret Church. After the ceremony we did more portraits at the church, on the bench where they had their first kiss, and then at the fire station where Bill is a volunteer fireman! Then after all that, we headed to the reception at the Tendenza in Philadelphia for a wonderful evening complete with the Phillies game on the big screen. Best wishes to Robyn & Bill!
This wedding was unique in so many ways! Kristen was living in Texas and Enoch was in California so we met with their planner Stacey from Create the Moment. After hearing all the details from Stacey and chatting over the phone with Kristen, we were excited to photograph their big day. After lots of emails over many months we were ready to meet them as well! The ceremony was at Narberth Presbyterian Church where we did the first look shots and then some more portraits around the church grounds. After the ceremony we went to the reception at Golden City Chinese Restaurant where guests were treated to a traditional 10 course meal and a huge display of cookies! Kristen even spent a whole weekend folding origami butterflies and there was a fabulous ikebana flower arrangement on display. Stacey was wonderful to work with and she really kept the day running smoothly along with her assistant! Double Happiness to Kristen and Enoch!
We had been looking forward to Alex & Laila’s wedding since the day we first met them. Their engagement shoot at Shofuso Japanese Gardens was a blast and we definitely had fun using all the small spaces for a variety of shots. Unfortunately on their wedding day we were limited on time due to a monsoon right after the ceremony! We started at the hotel for getting ready shots and then headed to the ceremony at SS. Simon and Jude in West Chester. The skies opened on all of us on our way to the reception and we were lucky to get there before they started shutting down the roads! Luckily The Brandywine Manor House was ready for us with their beautiful indoor venue. Although we couldn’t use the grounds and everyone was a bit wet, we still managed to get some fun portraits (see slideshow) before the party really got started. Since some of the guests were unable to make it because of the roads, the wedding party made good use of the extra space to really get down. It was so great the DJ offered to play for them every night! They do say that rain is good luck on your wedding day, and we wish Alex & Laila all the best.
Cate & Colin had a beautiful wedding at Penn Oaks Golf Club. The weather held out for their outdoor ceremony and The Sound Investment Band kept everyone dancing through the night. With Colin’s family flown in from England & many of their friends from South Carolina, it was definitely a day to remember!
