Emily & Scott's Wedding at the Chase Center on the Waterfront.
Emily & Scott are two of the warmest, kindest people we have worked with. We knew from the first time we met that we would love everything about their wedding. It was the perfect day. All of their family & friends were taking care of everyone & made us feel right at home. Emily got ready at her parents & all the girls looked fabulous. The ceremony was at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Wilmington, DE. Afterwards we had plenty of time for portraits at Rockford Park & we enjoyed every minute of it! The reception was at Chase Center on the Waterfront in Wilmington, DE. The room was absolutely gorgeous with amazing centerpieces & purple uplighting. It didn't take long for the dance floor to fill up & everyone was happy to get their photos taken in the photo booth. Luckily we had a chance to sneak away down to the waterfront for some great night shots. It was an amazing time! Best wishes to Emily & Scott!
Ryan & Lauren-Alice's Wedding at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA
If you ever wanted to feel like a movie star on your wedding day, or just show your love of movies, this is surely one way to do it! Ryan & Lauren-Alice added the perfect touch from their monster movie style invitations to their popcorn & candy themed reception. The ceremony was held at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA. This is the same theatre that was featured in the classic science fiction movie The Blob! They had popcorn & drinks for their guests before the ceremony to snack on while they watched wedding themed trailers & clips. Then they said their vows "live on stage" in front of their friends & family. After grabbing some fun shots all over the theatre, we headed to Maggiano's Little Italy in King of Prussia for a big family style meal & mingling. Before we knew it the night was over with everyone full & happy. Congratulations Ryan & Lauren-Alice! This was the best double-feature we've ever seen & we wish you a very happy always & forever.
Kasey & Anthony's Wedding at the Wilmington Country Club
We had been looking forward to Kasey & Anthony's wedding for a long time. You may remember them from their winter engagement session at Longwood Gardens. Not many couples want to brave the cold like they did but we got some great shots & we knew the wedding would be even more amazing. We started with getting ready shots at Kasey's parents house along with her 5 bridesmaids - 1 twin, 1 friend & her 3 other sisters! - & of course Mom & Dad! Before we knew it we were off to St Joseph's on the Brandywine for the ceremony. The reception was held at Wilmington Country Club in Wilmington, DE. It was a sunny day & the country club was decorated beautifully. The Don Eaton Band did not disappoint & got everyone on the dance floor all night long. We know these two will go far & we wish them many happy days together. Congratulations Kasey & Anthony!
Kristen & Ian's Wedding at The Highlands Mansion & Gardens in Fort Washington
The whole day pulsed with energy. We can definitely say that this couple's love is so hot it caused a heat wave! We were with both Kristen & Ian as they got ready separately at the DoubleTree Philadelphia West in Plymouth Meeting, PA. All of Kristen's bridesmaids were buzzing around as Kristen sat calmly getting her hair & makeup done. Queen played in the background. Ian got ready in another room & headed to the church while Kristen & her girls went to The Highlands Mansion & Gardens to get her into her amazing wedding dress. The Mansion added the perfect backdrop for all of the final details. Once she was ready we all headed to the church for the couple to say their vows. After the ceremony we went back to The Highlands for the reception. Every moment seemed to be filled with magic. The details were all perfect. The speeches were heart warming, even though it was warm enough out in the gardens! The story of how Ian & Kristen met only solidified that this day was more than a fairy tale. Total Soul, the live band, filled the night with even more energy as they played with flair & everyone grooved to their sounds. Even the heatwave didn't stop people from dancing! The newlyweds were on fire! Every drop of sweat was worth it to watch these two celebrate their union. We also had the pleasure of working with Mckenzie from Mckenzie Miller Films so we know this day is definitely documented! We also know Kristen & Ian will have a very, very happily ever after as they *soar* off into the sunset towards their new life together. Best wishes to the love birds!
