Exploring Costa Rica & Panama

We're finally getting around to posting about our winter travels! Every year we like to get out and explore. Of course the cameras always come with us! This year we went back to Costa Rica for a few weeks and then made our way across the border to Panama for a few more weeks. Neither of us had ever been to Panama and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel. It was really hard narrowing down pictures to share, but here are a few!

Camping in Joshua Tree National Park, CA

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of taking a few road trips across the country. One of the places we love the most is Joshua Tree National Park in California. We ended up camping there twice in the same campground, Jumbo Rocks. Our site was surrounded by large monzogranite rocks and of course, Joshua Trees. At the beginning of the week we had the whole campground to ourselves. We figured maybe people didn't camp that much in the winter months. However by the end of the week we were sharing our own campsite with strangers! The best part was that we really didn't have to go far to get some great photos. Here are some that we shot just within a sort distance of our tent!

Volcán Arenal

We're back from our anniversary trip to Costa Rica! The picture below is from Volcán Arenal - which is an active volcano in the district of La Fortuna. We took an early morning trip to catch the sunrise before the clouds rolled in to cover everything up. Plenty more pictures & adventures to come!
